YouTube has introduced a new feature called Ask Studio, marking another big step in its move toward AI-powered tools for creators. This new addition to YouTube Studio lets creators get smarter insights with the help of AI, joining other helpful tools like the Inspiration Tab, which suggests fresh video ideas.
Ask Studio focuses on three main areas of your channel: comments, analytics, and content performance.
When it comes to comments, the tool can scan through feedback on your videos and highlight the main topics and overall mood of your audience. Whether you want a fast breakdown of reactions on one specific video or a larger look at what your visitors are saying across your channel.
In terms of analytics, it taps into the same data already available in YouTube Studio, but goes a step further by spotting trends and suggesting ways to boost your channel’s performance.
For content planning, Ask Studio can help spark ideas that match what your audience already enjoys. You can ask it for fresh takes on your ongoing series, find out which topics are gaining attention, or even get help crafting video titles and outlines that are more likely to connect with viewers.
Right now, Ask Studio is available only in English and is being tested with a small group of creators in the U.S.
YouTube says it plans to expand access soon, reaching more creators across the country and eventually adding support for other languages as it prepares for a wider international rollout.
Since the feature is still in its early stages, some prompts might return a simple “I can’t help with that” or a general response. According to YouTube, this happens when Ask Studio doesn’t yet have enough data or context to handle that specific question.
With Ask Studio, you don’t have to sift through endless comments or data charts to see what’s working. The AI highlights key patterns for you, saving time on reports and giving you more space to plan and create your next big video.
